Ingredients

Cake

  • 1 ¾ cups butter or margarine
  • 1 ¾ cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 ¼ cups flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts

Glaze

  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • 1 ½ to 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Beat butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually add powdered sugar, blending well.
  2. By hand, stir in the flour, cocoa and walnuts until well blended.
  3. Spoon batter into greased and floured 12 cup bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees 58 to 62 minutes.
  4. Cool upright in the pan on a cooling rack for one hour. Invert onto serving plate and cool completely.
  5. Cut into serving pieces and spoon glaze over each slice separately.
