- 1 ripe avocado, pitted
- ½ teaspoon hot sauce
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ¼ cup mayo
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon minced red onion
- 1 tablespoon minced cilantro
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- Puree first five ingredients.
- Add remaining ingredients and process until smooth.
- Can be refrigerated for up to one week.
Comments: Romaine is a perfect match with shaved red onion, tomatoes and crumbled bacon.
